![]() It definitely isn't a perfect game but one of the better MMOs out there just for the combat. I feel like people who shit on BDO either haven't played in a long time or haven't played enough to understand the mechanics You can just grind twice as hard the next time you play. If there is a day you don't fel like playing, you don't lose on progress. Since PA now publishes BDO there are so many catchup mechanics it isn't even worth to spend money on the game unless you like to gamble whoch I don't recommend.Īlso BDO's gameplay isn't capped. Then you have gamblers who like to lose everything enhancing gear but unlike a casino, you usually come out on top if you know what to enhance based on your budget. Grinders make money from grinding obviously with the help of those consumables. Lifeskillers gather mats to sell directly or to make consumables for grinders. You guys can't claim BDO doesn't have an economy when everything is about making silver. You can't trade directly, but why would you need to? Everything is obtainable from the auction house. ![]() Other than the season gear there is no soulbound items worth using. I don't mean to necro this thread but I stumbled upon this while researching. I WILL IGNORE YOU IF YOU DON'T.įirst thing I am posting here because they wouldn't let this post go on Lost Ark redditġ- After any update or long maintenance, bots tend to take time to relaunch which gives us the first method of counting them, at 13:00 UTC the number of peak players on Wednesday, Jun 1 was 667k, the day after on Thursday, Jun 2nd was only 140k in spite the weekly reset which brings with it more players, both days are not a weekend, logically there should be an increase in the number of players not decline, so 667 - 140 gives us 527k bots!Ģ- The second method: assuming in average games on steam have about half the max peak at the lowest point, in other words, if the highest peak in 24h is 100k, the lowest peak will be around 50k, by this logic if Lost ark peaks around 700k then it should drop to 350k however that's not the case it only drops to around 600k, so 700 - 600 gives us 100k which in theory represent half the player base, so the total player base should be 200k, that leaves us with again 500k botsģ- another similar method to the previous one based on data generated at random times counting both highs and peaks of several games on steam drawing an average, leads to the same number 500K botsĤ- Bonus method: just see for yourself you can't matchmaker for story dungeons, it takes a while for chaos dungeons on tiers 1 & 2 even early tier3, you rarely come across anyone in the open world including major cities, no one at field bosses.etc (in 4 different servers - Europe)ĥ- Another way to measure this is a lot simpler, the game usually have it's highest peak around 19:00 UTC, the day of the update/weekly reset (small update) less than 200k, down from 700k day before and after IF YOU SEND A MESSAGE TO THE MODS ABOUT A POST YOU MADE INCLUDE A LINK TO THAT POST.
